2 Injured In Lithium-Ion Battery Fire In San Francisco High-Rise Building
The two adults suffered severe burns and were taken to a burn center in serious condition.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Two people were seriously injured in a lithium-ion battery fire in a San Francisco high-rise mixed use building in the Tenderloin District Sunday morning.
San Francisco firefighters rescued the two from the Hotel Boyd building at 41 Jones St. using two ladder trucks before containing the fire just before 8:30 a.m.
The fire was attributed to an electric scooter on the sixth floor, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
