3 California Parks Make TikTok's Top 10
Yosemite National Park ranked third, ahead of Grand Canyon National Park. Yellowstone took the top spot.
CALIFORNIA – Nearly 280 million social media users have confirmed what most California residents already know: If you get the chance, you really should visit Yosemite.
And while you’re at it, don’t miss Joshua Tree and Redwood.
All three landed on TikTok’s ranking for the world’s Top 10 national parks.

“We gathered a list of all of the US and UK national parks as well as national parks around the world,” the social media company said of its methodology.
“These were then ranked according to the number of views posts tagged with the name of the national park had garnered on TikTok, as of the 19th November.”

TikTok users “voted” with their thumbs and gave Yellowstone and Denali national parks the two top spots with 630 million and 292 million views.

Yosemite National Park garnered 280 million views and No. 7 Joshua Tree and No. 10 Redwood national parks collected 121 million and 95 million.
A fourth California national park, Death Valley, ranked 17th with 43 million views.
Yosemite finished ahead of Grand Canyon National Park, which ranked fourth with 249 million views.
Flanked by the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains, Tuolumne County’s natural is recognized worldwide for its granite cliffs, giant sequoia groves, meadows, and glaciers.
“These natural wonders all contribute to its camera-ready quality,” the social media company said of California’s most popular national park.

Nearly 2.8 million people each year experience Joshua Tree’s spectacular desert scenery along with year-round outdoor activities.
The Southern California jewel sits on 800,000 acres of Riverside County land situated between Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.
Redwood National and State Parks features a collection of ancient trees including some of world’s tallest trees.
The Stratosphere Giant reportedly stands 370 feet – 65 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty.
The United Nations in 1980 declared the Humboldt County park a World Heritage Site.
