SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

The main attraction this weekend was the ultra-rare appearance of the Northern Lights, which could be seen as far south as Florida due to an ultra-rare solar storm. In other happy news, San Francisco city and county leaders welcomed the new Panorama Park at the highest point on Yerba Buena Island, which offers panoramic views of the entire Bay Area. The park also includes a 69-foot-tall sculpture by Hiroshi Sugimoto called Point of Infinity.
