BART Red Line, Partial Green Line Service Suspended
Trains on the Red Line are not running in either direction following an equipment problem.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Commute on BART trains was disrupted Monday morning after an equipment problem on the track near West Oakland station forced the transit agency to halt all Red line service and suspend part of the Green line, transit officials said.
Trains on the Red Line are not running in either direction. Riders headed to Millbrae are being told to use the shuttle train between San Francisco International Airport and Millbrae stations, then transfer to the Yellow line, which runs between Antioch and SFO. Passengers traveling from Richmond to Millbrae station are advised to take an Orange line train toward Berryessa and transfer at MacArthur station to the Yellow line.
Green line service is also down between Berryessa and Daly City stations. Passengers heading from San Francisco can board a Dublin/Pleasanton train and transfer at Bay Fair station to reach Berryessa. Riders starting on the Berryessa end can use a Richmond train and transfer at Bay Fair to continue to Daly City station.
