The California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is coordinating with local governments and emergency managers on regional needs.

Temperatures in the Bay Area could soar into triple digits in parts of the Bay Area this week and counties have provided information on cooling centers along with other ways to beat the heat.

Much of Northern California will be under an excessive heat warning Tuesday through Friday, the National Weather Service said, with temperatures between 90 and 110 degrees possible in inland cities including Antioch, Napa and Santa Rosa, according to the weather service. San Francisco was later added to the advisory.
