• No sign ICE is improving conditions at S.F. immigrant holding cells, attorneys say (missionlocal.org) — Immigrants held at ICE’s 630 Sansome Street facility in San Francisco may still be going without beds, blankets, medical care, and other basics nearly a month after a federal judge ordered improvements, according to civil rights attorneys. Lawyers say ICE has blocked access to detainees, shifted holding areas inside the building, and possibly moved people to Stockton, prompting the judge to warn that changing locations doesn’t excuse noncompliance.
   

• Days-long outage hits elderly, low-income residents hardest in San Francisco (ktvu.com) — Parts of San Francisco are entering a fourth day without power, leaving many seniors, low-income residents, and people with disabilities stuck in dark buildings, short on food, and without elevators. Local nonprofits and city agencies are expanding meal deliveries, opening a Mission Street charging center, and offering grocery vouchers and CalFresh replacement help to affected residents.
