Body Pulled From Water Near Exploratorium: Authorities

SAN FRANCISCO — A dead body was found in the water Tuesday morning outside The Exploratorium, according to authorities.

Emergency personnel received a 911 call for a person in the water at Pier 15, and police and fire officials arrived to find one person deceased, the San Francisco Fire Department said in a social media post around 8:15 a.m. The medical examiner was called to the scene, according to the department.

Video from the scene shared in the social media post showed first-response crews as well as their vehicles and boats outside The Exploratorium.
