A.C.T. Prepares For World Premiere of 'A Whynot Christmas Carol'

This new adaptation of the Dickens classic runs from Nov. 26 to Dec. 24 at Toni Rembe Theater. Tickets are on sale now.

SAN FRANCISCO — The American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) has revealed the cast and creative team for A Whynot Christmas Carol, a fresh adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic story by Obie Award-winning playwright Craig Lucas.

Directed by Tony Award winner and A.C.T. Artistic Director Pam MacKinnon, the production will feature inventive staging and music.

The show will run from Nov. 26 through Dec. 24 at A.C.T.’s Toni Rembe Theater, with a press night on Dec. 8.
