Caltrans Bay Area Career Fair Planned This Month

SAN FRANCISCO — Bay Area job seekers interested in embarking on a career in the transportation sector will have a chance to get a headstart this month during a career fair hosted by Caltrans in Oakland.

The agency's fourth district encompasses state roads in nine counties and 101 cities, and positions are available at the Oakland headquarters and satellite offices across the region. According to officials, Caltrans careers offer workers a challenge and a variety of paths, with plenty of room for growth and advancement. Some positions allow for flexible and hybrid work schedules and the state provides medical, dental and vision benefits, along with paid sick leave and retirement funds.
