Elderly Woman Pushed to the Ground, Robbed in Richmond District Monday

The 80-year-old victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

San Francisco, CA— An elderly woman was pushed to the ground and robbed in San Francisco's Richmond District on Monday evening, according to police.

The robbery was reported at 6:19 p.m. in the area of Cabrillo Street and 12th Avenue.

The 80-year-old victim was approached from behind by a female suspect who pushed her to the ground and then took her purse and cash, police said.

The suspect, a woman believed to be about 20 years old, then fled on foot and remained at large as of this morning. No detailed description of her was immediately available.
