Firefighters Contain Blaze In San Francisco's Outer Sunset District
The fire is under investigation.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — San Francisco firefighters contained a structure fire in the city's Outer Sunset district within one hour Saturday afternoon, with six residents displaced, the San Francisco Fire Department said Sunday.
Firefighters responded just after 2 p.m. Saturday to the 3600 block of Taraval at 47th Avenue for a reported structure fire, the agency said on social media.
Firefighters arrived within minutes of the initial dispatch and observed a two-story multi-residential structure at the end of the block with overhead street wires and heavy fire coming out of the building's second floor, the agency said.

"A quick response, an aggressive fire attack, and a fast search for victims resulted in this fire being contained within one hour with no injuries, no rescues, and six displaced community members," the agency said on social media.
The fire is under investigation, the agency said.
