Firefighters Rescue Surfer From Rocks Below Historic Cliff House
The surfer was in stable condition following the rescue.

SAN FRANCISCO — Firefighters rescued a surfer from the rocks below the Cliff House Friday, Aug. 25, the San Francisco Fire Department announced on Social Media.
In the post on X, the site formerly known as Twitter, SFFD said the surfer had been who was separated from his surfboard.

Ocean rescue swimmers from the Golden Gate National Recreation Area were in the water as a safety net throughout the duration of the rescue which involved firefighters descending the rocks and bringing the surfer up the cliffs by ropes.
