Freeze Watch For Bay Area Issued By NWS

Here's the timing for covering your sensitive plants.

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA — If you have sensitive plants, including many citrus trees, you may need to cover them or bring them inside, along with pets.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch for much of the Bay Area. The watch goes into effect overnight and continues through Thursday morning.

The North Bay will bear the brunt of the cold.
