BAY AREA — Thunderstorms and hail were reported around the greater Bay Area region Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
Thunder and lightning was particularly noteworthy in the South Bay, where the weather service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning near Morgan Hill.
Wind speeds of 60 mph were reported as part of the stormy weather, which is expected to decrease into Sunday, according to the weather service.
