Man With Dementia Missing In San Francisco: Police

He was last seen Monday morning getting into an unknown vehicle, police said.

SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco police are seeking the public's help to find a missing man with dementia.

Joseph Hampton was last seen around 8:30 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of O’Farrell Street getting into an unknown vehicle, police said.

He is 76 years old; 5 feet, 7 inches tall; 145 pounds; and has gray hair and brown eyes. He also has dementia.

Anyone who sees Hampton is asked to call 911 and report his location and physical description. Anyone with information on his possible whereabouts is asked to call 1-415-575-4444 or text 847-411 and begin the message with "SFPD."
