Man Injured In San Francisco Shooting

The shooting happened near Van Ness Avenue and Geary.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A 53-year-old man was injured in a shooting in San Francisco on Wednesday evening, according to police.

The shooting was reported at 7:26 p.m. in the first block of Myrtle Street, located just west of Van Ness Avenue and south of Geary Boulevard.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, San Francisco police said.
