Man Rescued From Waters Off Pier 14: San Francisco Fire Dept.

The man was rescued by San Francisco firefighters and taken to a nearby trauma center.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A 30-year-old man was rescued late Sunday afternoon from the San
Francisco Bay waters off Pier 14 off San Francisco's Embarcadero, the San Francisco Fire Department reported.

The rescue was made about 5:28 p.m. Sunday in the waters off this popular fishing and walking pier between the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Bridge and the San Francisco Ferry Terminal.

The man was taken to a nearby trauma center, where he was initially listed in stable condition, the SFFD said.
