Man In Stolen Vehicle Arrested, Ghost Gun Seized

Police say the man also had felony warrants from another county.

SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco police arrested a 36-year-old man last weekend for allegedly having a loaded ghost gun in the city's Tenderloin District while being wanted on two felony arrest warrants from another county.

Police received a tip on Saturday that the wanted man, John Moye, was in the area of the 200 block of Hyde Street.

After finding him in a parked vehicle, police reportedly found he had a loaded ghost gun, additional ammunition cartridges and other firearm accessories. Officers also alleged that the vehicle he was in was stolen.

Moye was booked into San Francisco County Jail on multiple accusations of firearms-related offenses, possessing burglary tools, and the outstanding warrants, among other allegations.
