Motorcyclist Thrown Off Highway 101, Killed
The crash happened at the connector to Interstate Highway 80.

SAN FRANCISCO — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night after being thrown off southbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said that at 11:18 p.m., patrol officers learned of a traffic collision near Highway 101's connector to eastbound Interstate Highway 80. They found a motorcycle lying in one of Highway 101's lanes going to the I-80 transition.
According to the CHP, the motorcycle rider flew off the freeway and landed in a closed parking lot.

Around 12:20 a.m. Thursday, the CHP confirmed the fatality.
There were no further details immediately given about the fatal crash.
