Pedestrian Struck, Killed By a Motorcycle in San Francisco

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a motorcycle in San Francisco on Tuesday night, police said

SAN FRANCISCO, CA- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a motorcycle in San Francisco on Tuesday night, police said.

The collision was reported at about 10:25 p.m. at Brotherhood Way and Junipero Serra Boulevard in the southwest corner of the city just north of the border with Daly City.

The pedestrian, a man believed to be in his late 70s, was in the crosswalk when a 47-year-old man on an electric motorcycle struck him, according to police. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name has not yet been released by the medical examiner's office. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. He was not arrested, police said.
