Restaurant Fire Injures 1; Eatery Closed
The fire started in the restaurant's kitchen, according to the fire department.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A kitchen fire that started around noon Monday injured one person and closed the Indian Oven restaurant in San Francisco's Lower Haight neighborhood for at least the rest of the day.
The San Francisco Fire Department said the one-alarm fire at 233 Fillmore St. was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
One adult was led to safety by firefighters and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There was no estimate as to when the restaurant will reopen.
