Roadways Flooded In Multiple Bay Area Counties
The CHP is also passing along a wind advisory for multiple Bay Area bridges.
BAY AREA, CA — An Atmospheric River fueled by a bomb cyclone has moved into the Bay Area and is impacting the morning commute.
The California Highway Patrol has set up Master Logs for roadway flooding around the Bay Area, with trouble spots already notched in Marin, Sonoma and Solano counties, making for slow-going during the morning commute.
A large rock is blocking traffic on Fitch Mountain Road in the Petaluma area of Sonoma County.

In addition, a flood advisory is in effect in the North Bay, where moderate to heavy rain has been falling for hours. The National Weather Service advises residents to be aware of Urban Area and Small Stream Flooding.
Satellite photos have shown a fire-hose intensity of rain hitting the North Bay.

The wind is also a problem, with the CHP issuing wind advisories for the San Mateo and Dumbarton bridges.
