SF Driver Trapped In Vehicle On Fire Freed By Firefighters

The occupant, who was trapped inside, was freed from the wreckage by firefighters, who then extinguished the flames.

One person suffered minor injuries in a traffic collision on state Highway 1 in San Francisco Sunday after their vehicle caught on fire.

San Francisco firefighters responded to the vehicle fire on the stretch of the highway named Junipero Serra Boulevard, at Brotherhood Way, about 10 a.m.

The occupant, who was trapped inside, was freed from the wreckage by firefighters, who then extinguished the flames.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries described by the San Francisco Fire Department as not life threatening.
