SF Man Accused Of Violating Domestic Violence Court Order: Cops

PACIFICA, CA — A Peninsula domestic violence suspect accused of violating a court order was arrested after leading officers on a foot pursuit, Pacifica police said.
Darien Diaz, 29 of San Francisco, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence with injury, assault with a deadly weapon and a violation of a domestic violence court order, among other charges, police said.
Officers at around 7:30 a.m. Oct. 30 responded to the 500 block of Inverness Drive on the report of a domestic disturbance in a parked vehicle, police said.

Diaz fled the scene as officers arrived by running through numerous backyards of residences.
Officers from the Daly City and San Bruno police departments responded.

The search for Diaz involved San Bruno K-9 unit Niko and a drone.
Diaz surrendered to authorities at around 9 a.m. police said.
