SF Police Impound 11 Cars After Stunt Driving Event
The incident occurred at Dolores and 30th streets. Some 100 vehicles blocked traffic, police said.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Police in San Francisco on Thursday reported they cited 10 people and impounded 11 vehicles involved in a street stunt driving event that occurred in late January.
On Jan. 24 at 2:45 a.m., officers with the San Francisco Police Department responded to several 911 calls in connection with a street stunt driving incident at the intersection of Dolores and 30th streets.
Responding officers identified more than 100 vehicles gathered at the event were blocking lanes of traffic.
Officers ordered the participants to disperse and clear the roadway.
Police said 11 vehicles were left at the scene unattended.
The vehicles were ultimately impounded, and 10 drivers were cited in connection with the incident.
Police said all of the people cited were between the ages of 18 and 23, and none of them were San Francisco residents.
