SF Police Seize Drugs, Guns, Cash In Bay Area Raid
Three people were taken into custody in connection with the raid and on suspicion of child endangerment, police said.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Three people were arrested during a raid in Oakland where San Francisco police seized drugs, guns and cash, authorities said.
Officers found the paraphernalia while serving a warrant in Oakland on Wednesday in the 2800 block of Eighth Avenue, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
There, officers found nearly 200 grams of fentanyl, over 50 grams of methamphetamine and 16 grams of cocaine that police said they believed were going to be sold on San Francisco streets, police said. A ghost gun, an apparatus used to press fentanyl, scales and $25,000 in cash were also seized from the home, police said.

Officers also found a toddler inside the home, police said, adding that they were given to a child welfare worker.
Oakland residents Jahir Banegas Hernandez, 20, Axel Josue Casco Rosales, 18, and Darwin Omar Martinez, 21, were arrested in connection with the drugs found in the home and child endangerment, police said. A woman at the home was also taken into custody for violating the conditions of a warrant, police said.

The raid is the latest bust since the SFPD launched its Drug Market Agency Coordination Center in 2023, according to police. Since then, they've seized over 900 pounds of drugs, including 332 pounds of fentanyl, police said.
