
Central Marin Police are investigating a report from a San Anselmo resident who said a wooden box containing $25,000 in jewelry was taken from her home.
In the report, filed Tuesday at 4:15 p.m., a resident of Lansdale Ave. claimed that she was missing a large maple wood box with a hand-carved wooden hinge. The box contained an undisclosed amount of jewelry valued at $25,000.
Police met with the resident and are looking into the reported theft. It was unclear how the purported thief gained access to the home.
