3 DUI Arrests; Domestic Battery; Drug Charges: Marin Blotter

Here's the Central Marin Police Authority blotter for May 20 to 26.

MARIN COUNTY — From May 20 to 26, the Central Marin Police Authority responded to 537 calls for service. During the week, calls included one hit-and-run crash, one minor injury, no major injuries, one call about property damage.

Police report there were neither residential nor commercial burglaries reported, and only auto burglary was reported. Police received four calls related to drunk driving, and three DUI arrests were made.

  • A Tamalpais Avenue resident in San Anselmo reported something had been stolen from his unlocked car. Police took a report.
  • A welfare check was conducted near Angela Avenue in San Anselmo. A resident was arrested for tampering with vehicle parts and a probation violation. He was taken to Marin County Jail.
  • A Cedar Street resident in San Anselmo called police to report something stolen was from his unlocked vehicle. Police took a report.
  • A 911 caller told police he found a window smashed and items missing from his car on Casa Buena Drive in Corte Madera. An officer took a burglary report.
  • A Larkspur resident was arrested for being under the influence of narcotics and a $7,500 warrant in San Mateo County after a resident reported a dispute on Skylark Drive. The suspect was booked into Marin County Jail.
  • A man without a permanent address was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after a caller reported seeing a suspicious person on Nellen Avenue in Corte Madera.
  • A San Anselmo man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on Magnolia Avenue in Lakespur. The man was booked into Marin County Jail.
  • A San Rafael man was arrested on Melville Avenue in San Anselmo after a 911 caller reported seeing a suspicious person. The man was arrested for vandalism, possession of burglary tools, vehicle tampering and conspiracy. He was booked into Marin County Jail.
  • A man without a permanent address was arrested for public intoxication and probation violation and booked into Marin County Jail after an officer spotted him on San Anselmo Avenue in San Anselmo.
  • A San Anselmo man was arrested and jailed in Marin County after being caught with a controlled substance. He was charged with being under the influence of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance, obstructing a Public Officer and violation of probation.
  • A 911 caller told police a dispute had occurred on Holcomb Avenue in Lakespur. A Lakespur resident was arrested for domestic battery and booked into Marin County Jail.
  • An officer cited a Navato man for public intoxication and released him to medical staff on Hawthorne Avenue in San Anselmo.
  • A man detained for theft on Paradise Drive iN Corte Madera was arrested on two no bail warrants in Marin County. He was taken to Marin County Jail.
  • An officer took a report after a Cedar Street resident in San Anselmo told police her bicycle was stolen.
  • A Fairfax man was arrested and jailed in Marin County for possessing concentrated cannabis.
  • A Via La Brisa resident in Larkspur reported he was the victim of identity theft. Police filed a report.
  • A San Rafael resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and obstructing a Public Officer after a traffic stop on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in San Anselmo. He was booked into Marin County Jail.
  • One driver was arrested for DUI after a three-vehicle crash on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
