Agenda: Sanitary District Hosts LAFCO Presentation

The Ross Valley Sanitary District will host a special workshop tonight at 6 p.m. in the community room at Drake's Landing, 300A Drake's Landing Rd, Greenbrae. On the agenda:

• Marin Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) Executive Officer Peter Banning will conduct a presentation on LAFCO and how it is involved in forming local government agencies.
• In addition, a focus of the discussion will be on the annexation and consolidation process for special districts. Consolidation of the Central Marin sanitation agencies has been a recurring issue.
