Fish Grade Road Closed Until July 15

The Marin Municipal Water District will be working on Fish Grade Road near Phoenix Lake from July 8-15 to improve road drainage and reduce erosion. These improvements will help protect water quality by reducing runoff of siltation into creeks and reservoirs. Fish Grade Road is an unpaved trail accessible to hikers, bicyclists and equestrians and is located past Phoenix Lake near the town of Ross.

Sections where the work is occurring will be closed to all visitors weekdays, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the safety of both visitors and work crews. Every effort will be made to keep the road fully passable after work hours and on weekends.
