After WW I, Germany was punished. This ultimately led to Hitler's rise to power. After WW II, the Marshall Plan was implemented. We helped our former enemies. This led to Germany and Japan becoming our allies.

When will we learn that you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar?

When will we learn that when we don't give people a voice, they turn to violence?

When we kill to exact "justice," we are copying the terrorists. We are just planting the seeds of more violence and more suffering.

Actually you catch more flies with grease. Another outmoded expression. Osama does not represent the entire mideast. He was a terrrorist there as well, killing his own. The world is a safer place now.

Oh, please. How can cigarette smoke possibly hurt anyone WALKING PAST Peri's? How absurd. You know, I think they should pass a law prohibiting residents from allowing their shrieking kids outside. It really annoys me and on these hot days I have to keep my windows closed and I don't have air conditioning.

I moved here last year and am legally blind, so I am learning my way around ON FOOT. First complaint: I would like to walk to and from San Anselmo to Fairfax along Sir Fransis Drake Boulevard. Going west on the north side of the busy street, there is a section just west of Butterfield where there is NO SIDEWALK! I am forced to walk in the busy street, about 4 or 5 houses worth. Crossing over to the other side does not help since there is also no sidewalk, especially along the side railing. Take a look next time you drive over there.

One of my pet peeves: You're driving from Fairfax, heading into Sleepy Hollow. You turn left onto Suffield, from SFD (right before Butterfield Rd), then you need to make a slight right hand turn to "merge" onto Butterfield Rd - when traffic is heavy... now THAT is a tough spot!
