Across Northern California and beyond, tinkerers, dilettantes, gurus and hackers heeded the call of the playa this past week.
Yesterday, tens of thousands of desert-bound dreamers left the Black Rock Desert after wrapping up the annual pilgrimage of self-expression, survival, gifting and indulgence that is Burning Man.Â
I want to know if you were on that wagon. (We are Fairfax afterall.) If you are just shaking the sand out of your shoes and lathering aloe on your sunburn, then take a little longer before getting back to work and show us the crazy projects you dreamed up. Transformed a golf cart into a remote-controlled space platypus with laser eyes? Welded a semi-robotic pair of flaming stilts? How about that handmade leather wedding dress you’ve been working on for six months?
