Do You See Smoke In Marin County?

FAIRFAX, CA -- Officials on Tuesday informed the public that they were conducting a controlled burn in the Mount Tamalpais watershed. The procedure is being conducted by the Marin Municipal Water District and Marin County Fire Department.

Smoke may be visible in in the region but there is no threat to the public, officials said.

Controlled burns are often conducted to prevent the risk of a wildfire.
