Ryan Michael Kannett, 38 of Fairfax, pleaded guilty in March 2021 to possessing and distributing child pornography.

FAIRFAX, CA — A Marin man who last year pleaded guilty to child pornography charges is accused of sharing plans to rape and kill women including his ex-girlfriend with an undercover federal agent, The Marin Independent Journal reports.

Ryan Michael Kannett, 38 of Fairfax, is accused of offering an undercover Homeland Security Investigations (a branch of ICE) agent “the opportunity to both enjoy the experience of helping me to brutally rape, torture, mutilate and snuff my ex,” the report said.

Kannett is facing a minimum of 15 years in prison after pleading guilty in March 2021 to possessing and distributing child pornography, according to the report.

“The better at it we will become and the more we can really enjoy the experience,” Kannett told the agent, according to the report.

“So, I personally not only think we don’t have to limit ourselves to one age and experience, but we shouldn’t.”
