FAIRFAX, CA – The town of Fairfax is giving residents an additional week to participate in its outdoor dining survey.
The survey has been extended to Friday (Aug. 27) at 5 p.m. It was supposed to close Aug. 20.
The Town Council in November started issuing permits to restaurants and dance and yoga studios for temporary encroachment on public space amid the pandemic.

Temporary use permits were also issued for businesses to use outdoor space on private property adjacent to their businesses.
The permits were extended in May for one year.
