Fairfax Moves To Expand Smoking Ban: Report

The measure will require an additional vote at the next scheduled council meeting on Nov. 3, the report said.

FAIRFAX, CA —The town of Fairfax last week moved to expand a smoking ban in residential housing complexes, The Marin Independent Journal reports.

The Town Council on Oct. 20 voted unanimously in support of a resolution that would ban smoking and vaping with no exception for marijuana in multi-unit dwellings, according to the report.

The measure will require an additional vote at the next scheduled council meeting on Nov. 3, the report said.
