Fairfax Police: Dog Honking Horn, Parties, Candelabra Stolen

Sunday, Sept. 18
Suspicious Vehicle: An officer initiated activity at closed China Village at 1:48 a.m.
Noise: Residents on Meernaa Avenue were having a gathering and it was loud at 2:38 a.m.

Theft: A candelabra was stolen from a living room on Pine Drive sometime in the last week.
Assist: A resident came into the fire station was wanted help cutting off a bike lock that he said was stuck. The fire department wanted officers to confirm the resident’s identity before they assist him.

Barking Dog: A dog was barking inside a house on Spruce Road all day.
Animal: A dog was inside a car in front of the fire station at 7:40 p.m. The windows were down, but the dog keeps pressing the car horn.
Noise: Loud live music was being played at a house on Dominga Avenue at 10:12 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 17
Suspicious Circumstances: A resident had a subject knock on his door on Pine Drive at 2:50 a.m. He was asking where the resident’s former tenant was.
Noise: People were sitting on a deck talking loudly and playing music on Hillside Drive at 3:43 a.m.
Found: A resident found a bike at Broadway and Azalea Avenues and brought it into the police station.
Accident – Minor Injury: A resident was involved in a car accident on Sept. 7 with minor injuries and the insurance company told him he needs to make a report.
Theft: A resident’s mom’s unlocked truck was entered sometime the night before and a portfolio with credit cards was taken. At least one of the cards was already used for a transaction in San Rafael.
Noise: A woman was speaking loudly into a PA system and there was Indian music (like from India) at Bolinas Road and Elsie Lane at 10:37 a.m.
Public Intoxication: There was a report of an intoxicated man in the park. Officers determined he had been drinking, but was not under the influence.
Suspicious Vehicle: A suspicious car with two people checking out houses was driving down Dominga Avenue at 7:32 p.m.
Welfare Check: A resident on Taylor Drive asked to be transported to Marin General, because she was depressed and thought she might hurt herself.
Barking Dog: A dog was barking all day on Iron Springs Road.
Friday, Sept. 16
Noise: There was a party with 10-12 juveniles in the backyard on Frustuck Avenue at 1:28 a.m.
Smart Meter: A PG&E truck was parked at Laurel and Cypress Drives at 7:42 a.m. Officers determined there were no Smart Meters.
Civil Problem: A resident is having an ongoing dispute with his neighbor about the property line on Coree Lane.
Probation Violation: A parolee was reported at Fairfax Café, whose GPS monitoring bracelet had gone dead and who was wanted for probation violation. He was arrested at 12:24 p.m.
Theft: A resident’s son’s bike was stolen from the White Hill grounds.
Fraud: A stolen credit card was used for fraudulent purchases – three at the Marin Alliance and three in Kentfield.
Suspicious Person: A subject was screaming at Tamalpais and Sequoia Roads at 8:05 p.m.
Disturbance: The doorman at the Sleeping Lady reported being involved in a physical altercation at 9:50 p.m.
