Fairfax Police: Intoxicated Subject Unconscious, Woman Says She Was Assaulted at Theater, Battery

Sunday, Jan. 16

Noise: Subjects parked in the 7-11 parking lot were making a lot of noise at 1:01 a.m.

Domestic Violence: A subject was arrested and booked into the county jail for domestic violence on Tamalpais Road at 1:29 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A subject was arrested at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Claus Drive for public intoxication, transported to detox and released to staff there at 2:38 a.m.

Insanity Case: A subject on Oak Road had taken two prescription pills and said she would take the whole bottle to overdose at 12:23 p.m. She was transported to the crisis center put on a hold.

Civil Problem: A resident reported that someone turned on her heater and an appliance while she was gone.

Assault: A resident reported that at the Fairfax Theater a woman said another woman grabbed her by the collar and yelled at her to shut up. The woman requested that the resident call the police. Police determined the allegations were unfounded. 

Saturday, Jan. 15

Public Intoxication: A subject fell on Broadway Avenue at 1:24 a.m. and hit their head and was unconscious.

Suspicious Circumstances: A woman reported that an unknown subject came up and rang her doorbell on San Gabriel Drive at 1:46 a.m. The subject said they were looking for someone and the woman said they had the wrong address. The subject then got back in a car and drove up the road.

Battery: A man said he was battered by a friend of his ex-girlfriend’s on Lansdale Avenue at 1:47 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A subject was arrested for public intoxication and for being in violation of his probation at Peri’s at 2:25 a.m.

Theft: A side-view mirror was stolen from a parked car on Scenic Road.

Suspicious Circumstances: A subject was starting to drive his car at the Fairfax Library at 4:04 p.m. while drinking an alcoholic beverage.
