Fairfax Police: Water Balloons, DUIs, Bench Stolen at Fat Angel

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairfax police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, May 30

Animal: An officer initiated activity on Park Road at 12:46 a.m. A dog was hit by a car.

Accident – Minor Injury: Two juveniles were hit in a crosswalk on Broadway Avenue at 12:44 a.m. Both got up and ran to the sidewalk.

Found: A resident found a Fairfax street sign in her front lawn and brought it into the police department.

Hazard: There was a large beer bottle that appeared to contain urine in the gutter in front of a residence on Park Road.

Driving without a License: An officer initiated activity on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:36 p.m. and a citation was issued.

Suspicious Circumstances: There was garbage dumped between the fire department and police department.

Sunday, May 29

Unwanted Subject: There was an underage person hanging around in front of 19 Broadway, who has been asked to leave a number of times.

Driving Under the Influence: An officer initiated activity at the end of Inyo Avenue at 1:22 a.m.

Theft: A bench was stolen from in front of Fat Angel Bakery.

Sleeper: There was a complaint of a man sleeping in front of Laughing Mama Studios at 9:19 a.m.

Welfare Check: A resident reported that a neighbor was throwing things off her balcony into the driveway and street on Live Oak Avenue at 2 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a suspicious vehicle driving slowly in the area of Deer Park.

Public Intoxication: A man was passed out in front of the fountain in front of the police department at 4:26 p.m.

Juvenile: Kids were running around on the roof of Fair-Anselm Plaza at 8:04 p.m.

Vandalism: A resident’s car was keyed sometime on Friday.

Saturday, May 28

Juvenile: Juveniles were gathered in the 7-11 parking lot at 12:01 a.m., two urinating on the back fence.

Noise: There was a loud group on Bolinas Road at 1:53 a.m.; one of them was playing a trumpet.

Barking Dog: There was a complaint of a dog excessively barking on Pastori Avenue at 2:56 a.m.

Noise: A resident reported that her neighbor was knocking on her door and calling her excessively.

Sleeper: There was a subject sleeping in a car at Good Earth.

Warrant Criminal: There was a warrant attempt made on Forrest Avenue at 1:08 p.m. and an arrest was made.

Disturbance: A resident reported a neighbor at Robinhood Manor Apartments was threatening and yelling at him.

Welfare Check: A resident requested that a welfare check be conducted on her sister.

Driving Under the Influence: An officer initiated activity at Marinda Drive and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 9:17 p.m. and an arrest was made.

Friday, May 27

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a bus with the sign flashing “Emergency, Call 911” at 6:44 a.m. It was determined it was unfounded.

Juvenile: A juvenile brought knives to White Hill Middle School two days earlier and showed his friend.

Disturbance: There was a verbal altercation between an employee and customer at the post office at 4:42 p.m.

Vandalism: A resident’s car was struck with a water balloon on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 8:48 p.m.

Vandalism: Another resident reported his car was truck by water balloons thrown by juveniles in a black SUV on Center Boulevard at 9:02 p.m.
