Fairfax Readies To Interview Town Manager Applicants

Fairfax has sought a new town manager since Garrett Toy stepped down to accept an offer to become Sonoma's top administrator in June.

FAIRFAX, CA — The town of Fairfax is readying to interview candidates for its top administrative post.

Fairfax has sought a new town manager since Garrett Toy stepped down to accept an offer to become Sonoma’s top administrator in June.

The town in early July hired tapped Adam Politzer to be its interim town manager.

Hiring consultants will work with Fairfax’s Town Council to start the interview process in November, officials said.

“We have received 19 applications from a highly qualified, diverse pool of applicants,” officials said in the town’s weekly newsletter.
