Firefighters Contain Marin Blaze

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Firefighters on Monday morning contained a blaze that shuttered a local road and triggered shelter orders, the San Rafael Police Department said.

Treehaven Drive was closed for part of Monday morning due to a structure fire, police said in a series of alerts Monday morning, the first of which was issued at around 6:15 a.m.

Police reported the blaze was contained, the road reopened and shelter orders lifted at 7:55 a.m.

“There are no current threats to any surrounding structures,” police said.
