The Fairfax police log for Aug 23-27 includes noisy juvenile skateboarders, subjects setting off bottle rockets, and a man who reportedly asked some kids if he could smoke marijuana poolside at the Creekside Apartments.

Noise complaint 3:37 a.m. Laurel Drive. Reporting person would like an officer to contact his neighbors regarding their radio, which is too loud and wakes him up.

Juvenile problem: 9:13 a.m. Westbrae Drive. A 12-year-old girl went on a run at 7:15 a.m. and has not returned. Unknown if she could have taken the bus to Marin City.
Animal problem: 11:49 a.m. Kentfield Campus proper. Dogs locked in a vehicle.

Noisy juveniles: 1:45 a.m. Post Office on Center Blvd. Reporting person said a group of noisy juveniles are skateboarding in the rear Post Office lot.
Assist: 10:58 a.m. Spring Lane. Sewer line break in the lateral on the resident’s property.
Attempt to contact: 3:40 p.m. Broadway. Subject contacted and arrested for a burglary committed last month.
Bottle rockets: 4:59 p.m. Ace Court. Report of a subject setting off bottle rockets. Area checked and subjects were gone on arrival.
Threats: 5:49 p.m. Good Earth on Center Blvd. Verbal altercation between two males. Both parties were counseled.

Saturday, August 25
DUI: 1:35 a.m. Dons Market. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Officer-initiated activity. Arrest made.
Disturbance: 6:11 p.m. Bolinas Road. A man with a goatee and ponytail punched the reporting person twice in the chest.
Hazard: 6:41 p.m. Rudy Contratti Field on Bank Street. Report of a subject hitting baseballs at the field and multiple balls are flying over the fence and hitting the vehicles parked on Bank. The caller doesn’t want a baseball to hit a passerby.
Disturbance: 7:01 p.m. Taylor Road. Reporting person said he daughter is not caring for her properly. Daughter is refusing to administer medications to the reporting person.
Found property: 7:27 p.m. Bolinas Road and Broadway. Anonymous woman found a wallet and turned it in to the police.
Suspicious circumstances: 8:15 p.m. Center Blvd. Child in the crosswalk appears confused.

Drug violation: 9:38 a.m. Creekside Apartments on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Second-hand information. Reporting person is upset because a male subject asked children if he could smoke marijuana in front of them. This occurred at the pool.
Suspicious circumstances: 7:26 p.m. Center Blvd. Reporting person said a disoriented female was wandering around after she parked a mint green Mini Cooper on the sidewalk.
Generic fire call: 8:03 p.m. Rocca Drive. Report of strong smell of smoke in the area.
Public intoxication: 11:30 p.m. Mono Avenue. Officer initiated activity at Mono Lot. Arrest made.Â

Cyclist puncher: 8:17 a.m. Center Blvd. and Saunders Ave. Subject is on foot, was in a gray car before. Subject punched a bicyclist about a block away.
Vehicle vs. deer: 11:59 a.m. Center Blvd. Occurred at the Post Office.
Citizen assist: 6:11 p.m. Roco Dance & Fitness on Bolinas Road. A desk that fronts the studio is now at Mono and Pacheco. Unknown how the desk got there.
Noise complaint: 8:50 p.m. Deer Park Villa on Bolinas Road. Reporting person said the music from Deer Park Villa is excessive. He called them and it only got louder. Caller declined having a decibel reading taken from his residence.Â
Noise complaint: 11:35 p.m. Bolinas Road and Broadway. Caller is reporting an ongoing problem with loud music from one of the downtown businesses. Unsure which one, but it has been going on all summer.
