According to San Anselmo police, a resident reported that two nine-year-old girls were asked by an older man if they wanted a ride around noon at Oak and Waverly Avenues.
The girls reportedly told the man no and proceeded to one their mother's work places on Oak Avenue.
Police could not locate a vehicle matching the description in the area.

The man, according to the girls, was around 40 or 50 years old, with white hair and a white beard and mustache. He was driving a white pick-up truck with a graphic, similar to a bug on the side of the door.
