Marin Chamber Expands Women Of Industry Awards

SAN RAFAEL, CA — The San Rafael Chamber of Commerce has expanded its annual Women of Industry awards.

In addition to its Women of Industry Leader Award, the Chamber this year will also present an award to a Women of Industry Emerging Leader.

The awards will be presented at the 8th Annual Women of Industry Event.

The event is scheduled to be held Nov. 19 from noon to 2 p.m. at the San Rafael Embassy Suites (101 McGinnis Parkway).

“We will celebrate two women who are business leaders and demonstrate professional excellence in their field,” the chamber said in a statement.

“They have a genuine commitment to pushing boundaries, motivating others, and building relationships with colleagues and employees. These women are mentors and advocates for the inclusion of everyone in our community, especially women and girls.”

The deadline to apply for both awards is Aug. 13.
