Marin Gift Drive Targets Those In Need
The city has launched a "Clothes and Cards" Drive that aims to help those experiencing homelessness.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — The city of San Rafael is asking residents to think of fellow community members in need this holiday season.
The city has launched a “Clothes and Cards” Drive that aims to help those experiencing homelessness.
The city is asking residents to donate gloves, hats, long underwear (new and in a package) or gift cards (for food vendors only).

No other items will be accepted.
The collections began Monday (Nov. 15) and will conclude Dec. 31.

Items can be dropped off at City Hall , the San Rafael Police Station, any San Rafael Fire Station or the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce.
Gift cards can only be dropped off at Police Headquarters (1375 5th St.), city officials said.
