Meet A Candidate for President
Green Party Presidential candidate at the Sleeping Lady tonight.

It's rare for a Presidential candidate to come to a small town in Northern California, but when that town has the only Green Party majority council in the country it's a must stop for Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
Stein, a physician who ran for Secretary of State of Massachusetts and won the most votes ever for a Green-Rainbow Party, will be at the from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, Dec. 1, as part of her tour of California this week.
Though the event is advertised as a fundraiser, it's a free gathering that will also feature music from Eliza Rickman.

Stein, who is emphasizing a Green New Deal in her campaign and led a successful renewable energy initiative in Massachusetts, has spent her week in California attending Occupy events, including the kick-off event in Napa yesterday, Occupy Oakland, San Franicsco, and Santa Cruz.
The event in Fairfax will also be a chance to talk to new Fairfax Mayor Pam Hartwell-Herrero and outgoing Mayor Larry Bragman, both of the Green Party.
