My first son's birthday was chaotic and stressful. I organized the whole thing, decorated the place, and took care of everything. Even though I had it catered, I was still anxious the whole time. I want to just be able to enjoy both my sons' birthdays. I was thinking of hiring an event planner for my other son's birthday this fall, but is that too excessive? Even if it's just a small event? What do you do for your kids parties? Is there any way to make them less stressful and more enjoyable?
