Nominate a Person of the Year

Who deserves to be San Anselmo and Fairfax's person of the year? If you know someone who made Ross Valley a better place, nominate them.

Who deserves to be recognized as San Anselmo-Fairfax Patch's person of the year?

If you know someone who made Ross Valley a better place over the last year, contributed time and effort to various causes, helped neighbors and the community, or even made a smaller impact that's  important, nominate him or her.

Please make your nominations in the comments below or by emailing kellyd@patch.com. Include who, why they should be person of the year, what affiliations with schools or organizations they might have and who you -- their nominator -- are.

Make those nominations by 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12. We will take the nominees and ask readers who they think should win. After a Person of the Year is voted on, I will run a story about the winner.

You may nominate yourself, someone you've worked with or even someone you've just read about that might deserve this recognition. I know we have lots of great people in San Anselmo and Fairfax, so get nominating.
