We may be one of the most active and outdoors-y counties in the state, but according to a study conducted by Marin Kids, out of 50,000 children living in Marin County, 19 percent of children are not at healthy weight, 20 percent of students in grades five, seven and nine do not meet fitness standards for aerobic activity and 27 percent of seventh grade students do not meet healthy weight guidelines.
