Police Declare Bay Area School Safe To Return, Continue To Investigate Bomb Threat
Police said they are following up on leads to determine who called in the bomb threat.
SAN ANSELMO, CA — Police have completed an extensive search of the high school campus and determined it was safe for students to return after a bomb threat was called in Wednesday in San Anselmo.
At around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the Central Marin Police Department sent out an alert and said there was a bomb threat made at Archie Williams High School. Students were evacuated and a reunification site was established at the Red Hill Shopping Center.
Police said they determined the campus is safe and no threat exists any longer to the safety of the students or staff.

"The Central Marin Police would like to extend our gratitude to the Tamalpais Union High School District, Archie Williams High School, Marin County Sheriff's Office, and the California Highway Patrol for their partnership and resources in resolving this incident," police said.
Officers said they are currently investigating this criminal threat and following up on leads.
